This is a full time day position, Sunday-Thursday, 40 hours per weekDuties include the following:
Performs major housekeeping duties including cleaning hallways and common areasMaintains carpet care and floor finishing, including spotting of carpetsRoutinely extracts carpeting and also on an emergency basisMaintains equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies and proceduresTakes monthly inventory on all cleaning supplies in the main janitor's closet and compiles an order to be placedRecommends to Director of Environmental Services equipment and supply needs of the departmentComments on the condition and operation of the floor equipmentPicks up and removes trashPicks up and removes all items in the recycling program at the facilityAccomplishes all tasks in order of priorityReports to the Director all complaints in regard to the controlling of insectsParticipates in programs educating and orientating employees to the systems and procedures relating to the housekeeping operations, including life safety drills as scheduledAssists in table and chair arrangement and set up for scheduled events and activitiesMaintains privacy of Residents in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policyMany roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination statusThis could include MMR, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine statusIf you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!EEO Employer Recommended Skills Mopping Stain Removal Sanitation Soap Dispensers Cleaning Maintenance Dust Ventilation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
